Booking
A booking is valid only after
the booking form has been completed in full, showing all details
requested of all persons in the party; signed by the clients'
Party Leader; the appropriate deposit has been paid to the
owners; and the booking has been accepted in writing by the
owners. The booking is reserved exclusively for the party
named in the booking form - and no other person is permitted
to stay at the villa.
Deposit
A non-refundable booking
deposit of £150 per week or part week is required within
7 days of booking. This will be deducted from the full payment
due.
The balance of the rental charge is
payable no less than 8 weeks before the commencement of the
rental period. Bookings made within 8 weeks of commencement
require full payment with the booking form. If the clients
do not pay the balance due at the prescribed time, the owners
reserve the right to cancel the booking. The deposit is not
refundable.
In the event of cancellation by clients,
which must be made in writing, the following charges will
apply:-
Up to 8 weeks prior to departure deposit
only
5 to 8 weeks prior to departure
50% of total cost
0 to 5 weeks prior to departure
100% of total cost
If through circumstances beyond the
owner's control, cancellation of bookings by the owner or
his agents should occur, the owner will be liable to refund
all monies paid by the client only or to make alternative
arrangements by agreement with the client.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of £200
is required to be held by the owner and is payable with the
balance payment. It will be returned within 10 days of the
completion of the rental period, and upon receipt of notification
from the owner's agent that the key has been returned, and
that no loss or damage has occurred to the property and its
contents.
The client is held liable for the cost
of making good all damage or loss to the property and contents
during the period of rental.
Liability
Clients are recommended to
fully cover themselves with holiday travel insurance.
Owners do not accept responsibility
or liability for the following:-
- Loss or damage caused by force
majeure, or events beyond their, or their agents, control.
- Injury however caused as a result
of the use of the property and its swimming pool area. The
pool is not designed for diving and parents should not allow
unsupervised children to use the pool. Glassware should
never be taken to the pool and its surrounds.
- Loss or damage to the clients property
at any time, howsoever caused.
- Delay or cancellation of client's
travel arrangements.
- Services included in the rental
price that are not used.
Force Majeure
The owners of the property,
or their agents, accept no liability to pay compensation in
respect of loss, damage or changes arising from unforeseeable
circumstances beyond their control. Accepted examples of Force
Majeure are strikes, industrial disputes, riots, civil strife,
war or threat of war, terrorist activity, fire, flood, adverse
weather conditions and temporary failure of villa equipment,
etc.
General Conditions
- This is a No Smoking / No Pets villa.
- Rental commences at 4:00pm on the
arrival date, and the premises should be vacated by 10:00am
on the day of departure.
- Air-conditioning and other device
controllers are preset for your comfort combined with cost
efficiency. Under no circumstances must any settings be
altered - any resultant damage will be deducted from the
security deposit.
- All rentals include linens, towels,
electricity and water use, but please try to use these as
sensibly as you would at home
- A telephone is provided. Local calls
are free, but a credit card will be needed to make long
distance.
- The property will be cleaned thoroughly
before and after the rental period, and no food or household
items will be left on the premises between rentals.
- In the event of pool heating being
requested and paid for, the owner cannot guarantee the pool
temperature, as it will be affected by prevailing weather
conditions. If a pool blanket is provided, use of this over-night
is recommended to ensure a warm swim in the morning .
- The owner reserves the right to
decline or accept bookings.
- Minor breakages such as crockery
or glassware will inevitably occur and it is much cheaper
to replace these items yourself (they must be like for like,
please), than for them to be discovered by the housekeeper.
- The owners reserve the right for
them or their agent to enter the property at any time, for
whatever reason (client will be telephoned prior to entry
unless in an emergency).
